Founded in 1918 as a World War I relief organization, Summit Playhouse is one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in the United States. With a repertoire of over 300 shows throughout the last several decades, Summit Playhouse produces three Main Stage shows per year in addition to a youth theater program, which puts on a full-length musical every summer. Consider membership at the local YMCA for access to state-of-the-art athletic facilities, exercise classes, and dozens of youth programs. Summit YMCA has four locations and offers programming for 15,000 people yearly.
A favorite summertime activity in Summit, the Hot Summer Nights Concert Series brings the entire community together for warm evenings on The Village Green for live entertainment, food trucks, and family-friendly activities every Tuesday night.
